Event: Days of Open Doors on Peljesac
Peljesac Peninsula winemakers are having their traditional weekend of “open doors” in local wineries and everyone is invited. Visit this beautiful part of Dubrovnik-Neretva County and discover why it is this country’s most renowned wine region.
Event is organised by local Tourism Board and local winemakers. It is becoming somewhat of a tradition in Dubrovnik area and is very popular with locals. Peljesac is known for great wines, so if you have a chance to visit the area December 6th or 7th, don’t hesitate. On Saturday 6th December program goes from noon to 6:00pm. In Village of Putnikovici rating of the new vintage will be organised followed by a “Wild Game Goulash Cook-off”. On Sunday the “main event” will include many of the wineries of the Peninsula hosting all those who venture out there with plenty of local hospitality and free samples.
